Coconut – 1.5 cup (freshly grated )
Ghee – 1tablespoon
Sugar – ¾ cup
Condensed Milk – ½ Cup
Cashew nuts – as required
Desiccated coconut – ½ cup
Add ghee in a pan, after heat it, add cashew nuts and roast till golden in colour. Remove from the pan. Keep it aside.
To the same pan, add grated fresh coconut. Saute it well for a few minutes. Pour milk and sugar into the pan. Cook till the mixture thickens, then keep stirring regularly.
Add cardamom powder on the top of the mixture. Saute it well. Now add roasted cashew nuts in the mixture and mix well. Switch off the flame.
Pour this mixture into a flattened pan. Allow it to cool completely. Roll the mixture into balls. Then roll the ladoos in desiccated coconut evenly.
Store coconut ladoo in airtight jars and keep it in the refrigerator.
Serve it within 5 days.
