PAPAYA JAM

 

INGREDIENTS:

Papaya Puree – 2 cups

Sugar – ½ cup

Lemon Juice – 1¼ teaspoon

Water – 2 tablespoon

Cardamom powder – a pinch

Cinnamon stick – small piece

 

PREPARATION:

Take a pan and add papaya puree and water into it. Boil this puree on the medium flame. Then add the sugar.

Crushed the cinnamon stick using hand and put it in the pan. Stir continuously.

Cook the papaya until it becomes thick and jam consistency. Pour the lemon juice and sprinkle the cardamom powder on it. Stir well.

Remove the pan from the heat and keep it to cool down completely.

After it cools completely store the jam in the airtight container and keep it in the refrigerator.

It can be used for about 1 month.

The yummy papaya jam is ready. Serve the jam with chapatti or bread.
