Marble Cake

INGREDIENTS:
Plain Flour – 1 ¾ cup
Baking powder – 2 teaspoon
Salt – ¼ teaspoon
Caster Sugar – 200 g
Butter – 125 g
Eggs – 3
Vanilla extract – 1 ½ teaspoons
Milk – 250 ml
Cocoa powder – 2 tablespoons
PREPARATION:
Mix together the plain flour, salt and baking powder well in a bowl and keep it aside.
Separate the egg yolk and egg white. Keep it aside.
Powder the sugar well. Take a bowl and whisk the powdered sugar and butter until smooth and creamy.
Add egg white into the mixture and beat well again until it changes smoothly.
Then add the mixture of baking powder, salt and flour into it. And also pour the milk into the bowl. Mix well.
Divide the mixture into two equal portions. Add Cocoa powder in a portion and vanilla essence in another portion.
Take a baking dish and grease the baking dish using butter and dust with flour.
Transfer vanilla cake mixture into a greased baking dish. Then pour the cocoa mixture on it.
Using a fork slowly mix the cake mixture for getting marble effect.
Then bake it in 350 degree Fahrenheit for 45 minutes.
Remove from the oven. Keep it aside for cool and cut into desired shapes.
The tasty marble cake is ready. Serve it with tea or coffee as evening snack.
