IPL 2021: Decision to admit spectators to IPL
The BCCI has decided to allow spectators partial access to stadiums in the UAE for the remaining matches of the season. With just 3 days to go before the start of IPL matches, it is a good news for cricket fans. Tickets can be purchased through the IPL website from today.
The 14th season of the IPL will resume in the UAE with the Mumbai-Chennai match in Dubai on Sunday. The UAE will host the remaining 31 matches of the season. The matches will be played in Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi.
The BCCI has said that the matches will be played in compliance with the Covid protocol and regulations of the UAE government. Only those who have completed the Covid vaccination will be allowed to enter the stadium. The IPL galleries are opening for fans after a gap of 2 years.
