DRIED BEEF FRY/ UNAKKA IRACHI VARATTIYATHU

 

INGREDIENTS:

Dried Beef- 1 Cup (crushed)

Shallots – ¼ cup

Curry Leaves – 2 sprigs

Black Pepper powder – 1 teaspoon

Coconut Oil – 3 tablespoon

Red Chili Powder – ½ teaspoon

Turmeric Powder – ¼ teaspoon

Coriander powder – 1 teaspoon

Garam Masala powder – ½ teaspoon

Dry red Chili – 6

Ginger- Garlic Paste – 1 ½ teaspoon

 

PREPARATION:

Heat oil in a pan and add crushed dried beef. Fry it well. Remove the fried beef from the pan. And add this fried beef in a blender. And pulse it; be careful not to powder the meat.

Crushed the dried chilly with shallots well. Keep it aside.

Take another pan and heat oil. Add curry leaves and also add crushed dry red chili and shallots. Sauté it well. Then add ginger- garlic paste. Sauté it for a few minutes.

Now add turmeric powder, chilli powder, garam masala powder and coriander powder into it. Fry it well and, now add the crushed dry beef into it mix it well. Sprinkle pepper powder and only if required, add enough amount of salt.  Sprinkle some water on it. Mix well. Cover the pan with a lid and cook until the meat is gets soften.
