BEEF PICKLE
Beef – 900 gm (cut in small pieces)
FOR MARINATION:
Chilli powder – ½ tablespoon
Turmeric powder – ½ tablespoon
Fennel powder – 1 tablespoon
Pepper powder -1 tablespoon
Salt to taste
Vinegar – 2 tablespoon
Curry leaves – 3 springs
TO FRY:
Garlic – 8 gloves (chopped)
Ginger – 2 tablespoon (chopped)
FOR SAUTEING:
Chili powder – 1 tablespoon
Fennel powder – 1 tablespoon
Pepper powder – ½ tablespoon
Vinegar – ¼ cup
Oil – for frying the beef
Salt – to taste
PREPARATION:
For marinating add chili powder, turmeric powder, Fennel powder, pepper powder, vinegar, curry leaves and salt in the beef. Set aside. After 1 hour cook it in the pressure cooker with little water. Drain the excess water.
Add oil in the pan for deep frying. Fry the cooked beef in the oil until it turns brown.
Add ginger and garlic in the same oil for frying until it turns golden brown and keep it aside.
Add oil in the skillet, then put the chili powder, fennel powder, pepper powder, salt into it. Fry this in the oil in the low flame.
After the masalas turn brown, then add the fried beef into it.
Then add ginger and garlic into it. Mix well. Finally add ¼ cup vinegar and mix well.
You could serve this after few weeks is more better.
