Young woman, who resisted the sexual harassment, was doused in petrol and set on fire

A 23-year-old woman who resisted sexual harassment has been set on fire by pouring petrol on her. The incident took place at Yadgir in North Karnataka. The search for the accused Gangappa was extended.

The culprit allegedly broke into the house while her husband was out and tried to harass her. When stopped, he poured petrol stored on the bike and set it on fire. According to police, Gangappa had earlier tried to attack the girl and was warned by the village elders.
