Vijay fulfils the wish of Beast director Nelson Dilipkumar by throwing a feast
On Monday, director Nelson Dilipkumar used Twitter to share a photo from a dinner party hosted by Tamil superstar Vijay. Dilipkumar also sent out a tweet about his new film Beast.
“Thank you Vijay sir for hosting us,” the note said. With the entire team, it was a memorable and enjoyable evening. I’d like to express my gratitude to Vijay sir for his love and support. Sir, you were a delight to work with. I am truly honoured, and I will remember this moment for the rest of my life. Sir, your charisma and super stardom have carried this film to its conclusion. Thank you Sun Pictures, Mr. Kalanithi Maran, and Ms. Kavya Maran for providing such a wonderful opportunity and bringing this film together.”
“All of this would not have been possible without our incredible cast and crew,” it continued. It was a pleasure working with you. I’d like to express my sincere gratitude to everyone in the audience for breaking down barriers and showing us love and support. As usual, you all stood by Vijay sir and the entire team and helped make this film a huge success. Cheers!”
The film’s female lead Pooja Hegde, supporting actors VTV Ganesh and Satish, and music composer Anirudh Ravichander all attended Vijay’s dinner party.
It’s worth noting that Nelson Dilipkumar expressed his disappointment over a dinner party during his interview with Vijay before the release of Beast. Vijay had imagined a lavish feast and built up an appetite for it when he invited the cast and crew to his house for food, Dilipkumar recalled. Vijay, on the other hand, surprised him when he handed his guests a biryani packet from a regular hotel.
Vijay appears to have granted Dilipkumar’s wish for a lavish meal.
On April 13, the film Beast was released in theatres. Despite receiving negative reviews, the film went on to dominate the Tamil Nadu box office.
