UP Madrasas To Introduce NCERT Syllabus From This Year

According to Iftikhar Ahmed Javed, Chairman of the Madrasa Education Council, the Uttar Pradesh Board of Madrasas has begun preparations to give modern education alongside religious instruction.

According to the Chairman, “This year, madrassa students will also study the NCERT (National Council of Educational Research and Training) curriculum. Along with religious education, modern education will be provided.”

The upcoming academic year will see a greater emphasis on’modern’ education at UP Madrasas.

“Now Madrasa children will be able to learn Computers, Maths, and Science,” Iftikhar Ahmed Javed stated.

The new syllabus for Madrasas will be released in March.

“Pre-Primary classes such as KG, LKG and UKG studies will start from March,” said the Chairman.
