Tamil superstar Vijay fined by Madras High Court; ‘Don’t Be a Reel Hero’
The Madras High Court has fined actor Vijay, who has been described as the youngest commander in the Tamil film world.
The fine is Rs 1 lakh. The fine was imposed in a case in which a court was approached for tax relief for an imported car. His multi-crore Rolls Royce car was not taxed. Vijay had approached the court seeking special tax relief.
The court ruled that the superhero in the movie should not be a reel hero. The court rejected Vijay’s plea.
