Kodakara money laundering case: K Surendran questioned for an hour and a half

K Surendran’s interrogation completed in Kodakara money laundering case. The interrogation lasted for an hour and a half. BJP activists gathered to welcome Surendran, who was released after questioning. Surendran’s response after questioning was that a strange investigation was going on. Surendran reiterated that he was present as a responsible public servant and that the BJP had nothing to do with the case.

Surendran was summoned by the police on the pretext that he had spoken on the phone between Dharmarajan and K Surendran, the complainant in the robbery case. Dharmarajan had called K Surendran’s son’s phone on the morning of the day when Rs 3.5 crore was stolen. Apart from this, the police have evidence of a meeting between K Surendran and Dharmarajan in Konni.

The probe team is of the view that the lost money belongs to the BJP. Earlier, the probe team had issued a notice to appear on July 6, but K Surendran asked for more time.
