Pet Dog Bites Child In Ghaziabad Housing Society Lift, Case Registered
A horrifying video has appeared online showing a pet dog biting a young child inside an elevator in a housing complex in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. The incident happened on Monday in Rajnagar Extension’s Charms Castle society, according to a tweet. The owner could be seen watching as the pet dog pounced on the kid and bit him.
“Even though the dog’s owner knows the child is in pain, the dog attacks the child when they are in the elevator. Because no one is looking, where is the moral code in this situation?” Sharing the CCTV clip on Twitter, Akassh Ashok Gupta tweeted.
When an older woman entered the housing society lift with her pet dog on a leash, the young boy was already standing inside. The dog sprung up and bit the child on the thigh as soon as the child went to the front of the elevator.
The boy subsequently experienced an acute pain reaction and started to bounce up and down on one foot. The pet owner, nevertheless, continued to stare at the boy without saying anything.
The Ghaziabad Police responded in response to the video. They disclosed that a case had been opened in response to the parents’ complaint. They said in a tweet in Hindi that the Nandgram police station is taking proactive legal action.
