Lalit Modi Drops Sushmita Sen’s Mention In Insta Bio, Changes Profile Pic
Lalit Modi, the man behind the Indian Premier League, has reportedly ended his relationship with actor Sushmita Sen after removing their photo from his Instagram profile and changing his bio to omit her name. Lalit made their romance public two months ago. The first IPL chairman, Mr. Modi, initially discussed his relationship with the former Miss Universe in July and released pictures of their Maldives vacation.
Soon after, he put up his photo with Ms Sen as the profile picture on the photo-sharing app. He also updated his bio mentioning her profile: “Founder @iplt20 INDIAN PREMIER LEAGUE – finally starting a new life with my partner in crime. My love @sushmitasen47 (sic).”
On Tuesday morning, however, he changed the image on his Instagram profile, and the section in his bio that mentioned Ms Sen was removed. This morning, it said, “Founder @iplt20 INDIAN PREMIER LEAGUE – Moon (sic).” His solo photograph has been added to his profile along with a national flag filter.
Meanwhile, other sources connected the development to what appeared to be the breakdown of the partnership. Ms. Sen and Mr. Modi have not yet commented on the rumours.
When Mr. Modi made his connection public in July, it quickly went viral online, and Ms. Sen was the target of never-ending criticism and “gold-digger” jabs.
It’s awful to watch how unpleasant and unhappy the world around us is becoming, Ms. Sen wrote in a lengthy response. “I have always (famously) favoured Diamonds over Gold and dig deeper than Gold!! And certainly, I continue to purchase them personally! “she’d stated.
