Mahatma Gandhi’s Statue Vandalised In Bathinda
At a public park in Ramman Mandi, some unknown individuals vandalised a statue of Mahatma Gandhi, according to police on Saturday.
According to them, the incident happened on the night in between Thursday and Friday.
When they learned about the vandalism, the locals angrily denounced the incident. According to Station House Officer (Sadar) Harjot Singh Mann, the Ramman Mandi Police Station has opened an investigation into the incident.
District Urban Congress president Ashok Kumar Singla called for the quick arrest of individuals responsible for the crime. Police promised that the offenders will be apprehended quickly. They claimed that CCTV footage of the area is being investigated to identify the offenders.
