Neetu and Ranbir Kapoor recall Rishi Kapoor by dancing to his distinctive moves on Dance Deewane Juniors
Ranbir Kapoor has been actively promoting his new movie Shamshera. On a future edition of Dance Deewane Juniors, Ranbir got down with his mother, seasoned performer Neetu Kapoor, and the two danced to some of Rishi Kapoor’s most well-known songs. The pair put on a fun performance on the stage of the Colors TV show, singing songs like Hoga Tumse Pyaara Kaun and Dard-E-Dil-Dard-E-Jigar.
The video was shared with a caption that read, “Rishi ji ki yaad mein Ranbir aur Neetu ji ne kiya perform. Unki performance ne bana diya Semi Finale ka mahaul aur bhi sunehra.”
In the video, Vaani Kapoor and choreographer Marzi Pestonji can be seen supporting the mother-son team.
The present focus of Ranbir and Vaani is on the promotion of their next film Shamshera. Ranbir will be seen playing two roles in the movie. Sanjay Dutt will play the villain in the movie, which is being directed by Karan Malhotra. The movie, which was made by Aditya Chopra, will debut on July 22 in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.Ranbir recently stated in a conversation that he wants to pursue films that are risky.
He said, “If you really want to hit it big in life, you really want to make a difference then you have to take that risk. If you don’t take that risk, you can find success in something, but to really get success, you have to take the risk.”
Ranbir will appear in the film Brahmastra with Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan in addition to Shamshera. The movie will premiere on September 9, 2022, in theatres.
