Maggi Noodles Manufacturing Allowed in Karnataka – Unique Times
The Congress government id Karnataka has finally decided to allow manufacture and sale of Maggi noodles in the state deciding to withdraw its banning. They came to this decision stating its clarity on the permissible limits of Monosodium Glutamate (MSG) and lead, as stated by Karnataka Health Minister UT Khader. He also stated that the decision is completely left to the company whether to start the production of noodles and other products and that they are clear in their own stand in not honoring the central orders. Mr. Khader also added that they would be very happy in implementing the central order on framing clear ideas on the permissibility of the level of MSG and lead contents in noodles. It is stated that even if the company is in the production and manufacturing of noodles and other products, it should be made sure that they undergo laboratory tests before hitting the market.
