One of India’s greatest cricketers, Virender Sehwag has indirectly stated about his retirement of his international career soon ahead of the Masters Champions League, where only the retired cricketers can play. The retirement will be announced soon after he returns to India from Dubai where he is currently attending the MCL launch function. During the launch of the Masters Champions League in Dubai, Sehwag was along with Brian Lara, Graeme Smith and Azhar Mahmood. He decided his retirement soon after his contemporaries Zaheer Khan decided to call off his career. Sehwag unveiled this a day before his 37th birthday at the launch ceremony of the veterans league in Dubai. The veterans league MCL is to take place in February next year, so Sehwag will complete his Ranji Trophy commitments with Haryana before joining the league. He is the only triple centurion in Tests for India to have scored career-best knock o 319 against Pakistan at Multan.
