COVID-19: Kerala man arrested for violating the lockdown advisory

In the principal arrest under the new Kerala Epidemic Diseases Ordinance, 2020, a man was arrested on Thursday for violating the lockdown warning. As per Ernakulam Rural Police, Sojan, a local of Mattoor in Kalady, was arrested for superfluous travel and disregarding the admonitions of health workers.

“Sojan and a couple of others were lingering in the streets and supposedly yelled at wellbeing laborers when they were coordinated to return home on Thursday. The issue went to the notification of the police while directing observation utilizing an drone camera in Kalady area,” said a cop with the Kalady police station.

As per the statute, the government can control the occasions sorted out by the general population, people and gatherings so as to contain the spread of COVID-19 in the state.
