Companies Extending Aid to Families of Employees

As India continues to battles the second wave of Covid-19, many organizations are coming up by extending monetary and non-monetary benefits to families of employees claimed by the coronavirus.

So far, India has recorded more than 2.4 lakh Covid deaths, according to the latest Union health ministry data. To ease the pain of the families of deceased employees, several organizations are offering benefits like a one-time compassionate payment, financial sponsorship for children’s education, and an employment opportunity to the spouse.

Many companies like Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and HCL Technologies, have expanded their group term insurance policy to include Covid protection for their employees.
