Alia Bhatt-Ranbir Kapoor’s mehendi ceremony: Neetu Kapoor gets Rishi Kapoor’s name written on her palms

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor have been dating since 2017, and their wedding is set to take place today. A mehendi function was held on Wednesday, ahead of the wedding, with family and close friends in attendance.

On her Instagram stories, the groom’s mother, Neetu Kapoor, posted a photo of her mehendi-adorned palms. Her late husband Rishi Kapoor’s name was written in her henna design, and fans were overjoyed.

Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, Neetu’s daughter, and niece, Karisma Kapoor, also shared photos of them applying mehendi at the function yesterday. Neetu also shared a photo from the wedding festivities’ dance rehearsal. On the photo, she wrote “Our dance squad.”

Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Karan Johar, Ayan Mukerji, Mahesh Bhatt, Pooja Bhatt, and Rahul Bhatt were among the other guests at the mehendi function. Pooja and Mahesh were seen leaving Vastu with mehendi on their palms.

While filming Brahmastra, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor began dating. Alia had previously stated in an interview that she no longer wishes to conceal her relationship with Ranbir.”I won’t pretend that I’m not in a relationship. In terms of my age, I’ve passed the point where I’d try to hide it. Of course, I am in a relationship with Ranbir, with whom I am very happy and deeply in love, and in which I have faith. I’m currently a very ‘dil wala’ person. In that sense, I’m a bit of a romantic, the ‘pyar kiya toh darna kya’ type. He is someone I adore, admire, and feel completely at ease with. That’s why we’ve been dating for so long. “I’m too at ease to keep quiet about it,” she explained.
