Two youngsters brutally hacked to death in Kerala
Two youngsters have been brutally hacked to death by unidentified anti-socials. There are reports that the youngsters were the members of the Congress party and it was the political rivalry that led to the murder. It is alleged that the traditional rival of the Congress party in the state, the Communist Party of India (Marxist), were the one that plotted the brutal murder of youngsters. Anyway, the CPI (M), as usual, has denounced that allegation.
The Youth Congress has announced a dawn-to-dusk hartal in the state over the issue. Congress President Rahul Gandhi has expressed his deep condolence in the loss of his colleagues. Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee President Mullappally Ramachandran and former KPCC president and opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala have lashed out at the CPI (M).
It is felt that the, so called, liberal media houses have purposefully ignored the story in the initial hours post the incident. To reach in the ears of public, the story has taken an hour or two more than the time a story normally takes.
All political parties should discard those who commit brutal murders in the name of politics. Zero tolerance towards violence should be adopted as an important policy. Politicians should stop using the term ‘political murder’. Actually, there is nothing called political murder. A murder is a murder. No need to give any political colour to any murder.
