Country offers help, heart to Chennai

As the Chennai is facing the worst ever food in the region, the whole nation is offering all there help, heart and support to the flood affected people. The central government has ensured the assistance of the National Disaster Response Force, the Indian Army and the Indian Navy to overcome the terrible crisis. Various NGO’s rushed to the spot, and they are providing free food and accommodation facilities; some local organizations and political youth organizations are assisting the rescue force.

Yesterday, in an open letter to Tamil Nadu CM J Jayalalithaa, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal conveyed his deepest sympathy on behalf of Delhi citizens, and he offered complete support to overcome the crisis. Along with Delhi CM, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar and Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah have expressed anxiety and concern.   Reports say that, there are still many people stranded in different regions in the city; currently, the rescue operations are concentrated to save the stranded people. The biggest challenge the state is currently facing is the food and accommodation, even though innumerable helping hands are offering ample contribution.

The center government discussed the situation in the Cabinet Meeting. Reports say that, PM and some senior ministers have personally discussed the new developments in the rescue operations. The Telecom Giants -Airtel, BSNL, and Vodafone- have informed the Customers that they are offering advance talk time and free internet service for the customers in flood affected region. The Conglomerate feels that this will help the people to stay connected.   The Indian Express daily has enlisted numerous contact details of persons working in the flood regions that can be used to seek a help. However, the big disaster will be the forthcoming after effects, like disease, accommodation, job, and many more. The country needs to create a stronger plan to overcome the after effects; otherwise, the situation will get even worse.
