Strict check on Malayalee passengers in Tamil Nadu: Health Minister visits Chennai Central

Tamil Nadu tightens restrictions on travelers from Kerala Tamil Nadu Health Minister M Subramanian visited the Chennai Central Railway Station to assess the inspection of passengers from Kerala. The inspection started at 5.50 am at the Chennai Central station by the Health Minister and the Devaswom Minister.

The Minister directly took steps to check the passengers from Kerala who arrived on the Alleppey Express. From the 5th of this month, the Tamil Nadu government has made it compulsory for people from Kerala to enter Tamil Nadu with an RTPCR negative certificate or proof of taking two doses of vaccine.

Apart from Chennai Central, the Tamil Nadu Health Department has decided to conduct strict inspections at other railway stations frequented by Malayalees from today.
