Sputnik Covid Vaccine: Mumbai Gets 3 Bids From Russia
Mumbai has gotten three offers for the stockpile of Russia’s Sputnik V Covid vaccine, government sources have said. The city’s urban body had recently positioned worldwide tenders for one crore portions.
The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) had put the tenders on May 11. These were given under India’s most recent cross country COVID-19 immunization strategy, permitting state governments to get Covid vaccine portions straightforwardly from makers.
The cutoff time for accommodation of offers closes tomorrow. Of the three got till now, one was made straight by the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) and the other two by India-based free delegates, the sources said.
