Six Pakistani nationals have been arrested in connection with the discovery of Pakistani boats off the coast of Gujarat
Six Pakistani nationals have been identified in connection with the discovery of Pakistani boats off the coast of Gujarat. The BSF, Gujarat Police and the Air Force conducted a joint search and arrested six persons in two phases. Eleven boats were spotted in the Gulf of Bhuj during a routine BSF patrol around midnight on Wednesday. Based on this, an extensive search was carried out.
The search team concluded that more people may have arrived in the country as eleven boats were found. Based on this, the search in the area is continuing. It is doubtful whether the occupants of the boat crossed the shore or hid on the coast. The search is difficult as the mangrove forest is a swampy area. The three teams were airlifted by helicopter for an air force search and were dropped off at three locations yesterday.
