Alia Bhatt shines as ‘Gangubhai’; Video song out

‘Gangubhai Kathiawadi’ is a film directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali starring Alia Bhatt in the lead role. The teaser of the film set against the backdrop of Kamathipura was highly acclaimed. The movie will hit theaters on the 25th. The first song of the film has been released.

The song ‘Dholida’ is sung by Janvi Srimangar and Shail Hada. Kumar’s lyrics have been set to music by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. ‘Gangubhai Kathiawadi’ is Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next film after ‘Padmavathi’. The film is inspired by the life story of ‘Gangubhai Kathiyawadi’, a woman in Hussain Saeed’s book ‘Mafia Queens of Mumbai’.

Filming, which began on the first schedule at the end of 2019, had stalled for months in the Covid setting. The shooting resumed in October last year. Under the banner of Bhansali Productions, Sanjay Leela Bhansali and under the banner of Pen Studios, Dr. Produced by Jayanthilal Gada. The movie will be released on February 25.
