PRESSURE COOKER BIRIYANI

INGREDIENTS
Rice – 3 cups
Chicken- ½ cups
Onion- 4
Tomato- 4
Curd- ½ cup
Mint leaves- ½ bunch
Coriander Leaves- 1 bunch
Turmeric powder- ½ tsp
Clover- 4
Cardamom- 1
Ginger paste- 2 tsp
Garlic paste- 2 tsp
Cashewnuts- 10
Khus khus- 1 tsb
Vanaspathi (Dalda)- 1/2cup
Green chillies- 6
Water- 3 cups
METHOD
Fry the rice and keep it aside.
In a pressure cooker heat dalda and fry onions, spices, tomato, ginger and garlic paste, green chillies, leaves and powders until the oil comes on top.
Grind cashewnuts and khus khus. Mix this with curd.
Add the chicken and curd mixture into the masala and mix well.
Add enough salt to it. On top of this spread the rice and water Cover and cook with the weight on until you hear one whistle.
Serve hot!
