Pours black ink on Rakesh Tikait: Incident at Bangalore Press Club

Agriculture leader Rakesh Tikait’s body was sprayed with black ink. While holding a press conference at the Bengaluru Press Club, some people came to the hall and poured ink on Rakesh Tikait’s body. Police said the violence was sparked by a dispute between farmers’ organizations. According to the police, the ink was poured by the followers of Kodihalli Chandrasekhar, a farmer leader from Karnataka.

After the ink was spilled, a clash broke out between the farmers’ group workers and the followers of Kodihalli Chandrasekhar. At the press conference, the mob beat each other, took chairs and threw them.

Kodihalli Chandrasekhar, who was attending a press conference at the Bengaluru Press Club on Saturday, was attacked by JDS activists who tried to pour ink on him. Eight people were taken into police custody in the incident. After this, Rakesh Tikait’s body was inked at the same place.
