On Potential T20 World Cup Final Against India, Babar Azam’s Response To Journo

The T20 World Cup 2022 final will feature the Pakistan cricket team after they defeated New Zealand in the semifinal match on Wednesday.

The likelihood of an Indo-Pak final is extremely high given the uncertainty surrounding the outcome of the second semi-final, which will take place on Thursday between India and England. In the post-semifinal press conference, Babar Azam was even questioned about the potential “pressure” match against India and the team’s approach to dealing with Rohit Sharma and company.

Babar, who has received harsh criticism for both his batting and leadership since the competition began, responded to his detractors with an incredible knock of 46 against the Kiwis. It was also really valuable how he used his bowlers when playing Kane Williamson’s team.

Questions regarding the probable super-clash against India have already begun to surface since the final is now the main emphasis.
While Mohammad Rizwan, Babar’s opening partner, scored 52 runs against the Kiwis to win “Player of the Match,” Babar only managed to score 46. Shaheen Afridi was also in full swing for Pakistan, producing figures of 2 for 24 in 4 overs.

India and England will now square-off at the Adelaide Oval on Thursday for the vacant spot in the final.
