National herald case: Sonia will not appear for questioning tomorrow; Gave letter to ED

In the National Herald case, Congress president Sonia Gandhi will not be able to appear before the ED tomorrow. Sonia Gandhi wrote a letter to ED informing them of this. In a letter, Sonia Gandhi said it would take weeks for her health to improve. It is therefore necessary to extend the time to appear for questioning.

At the same time, Rahul Gandhi said that questioning cannot be intimidating. Rahul Gandhi was questioned for 54 hours in five days in the case. He was questioned for 12 hours only yesterday. Rahul returned from the ED office at 11.30 pm.

The ED sought information about the financial dealings between the Associated Journals Company, which owns the National Herald, and Young India Limited, of which Rahul is a director, and the financial dealings of Young India Limited with Kolkata – based Dotex Merchandise. Rahul has sought more time to submit the relevant documents. At the same time, the Congress has decided to continue protesting against the ED move. Today, more leaders and MLAs from Kerala will take part in the protest in Delhi.
