Modi, Mamata and Adar Poonawalla in the list of 100 most influential people

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee have been named in Time Magazine’s list of the world’s 100 most influential people. Adar Poonawalla, CEO, Serum Institute of India, was also present.

The annual list of the 100 most influential people in 2021 includes US President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, Chinese President Xi Jinping, Prince Harry, Princess Megan, former US President Donald Trump and Taliban co – founder and current Vice President Mullah Abdul Ghani Bardar.

Fareed Zakaria, a senior CNN journalist, compiled a profile of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the Time list. According to the profile, Mamata Banerjee has become a powerful face in Indian politics. The Serum Institute is the largest manufacturer of vaccines in the world. Adar Poonawalla is the head of this institution.

The list includes tennis player Naomi Osaka, Russian dissident politician Alexei Navalny, musician Britney Spears, Asian Pacific Policy and Planning Council executive director Manjusha P. Kulkarni, Apple CEO Tim Cook and actress Kate Winslet.
