Mali PM resigns

The Prime Minister of Mali, Soumeylou Boubeye Maiga, has resigned from his post, as he has failed to bring down the tensions emerged after a terror group based in the country attacked a herders’ tribe.

President Ibrahim Boubacar Keita has accepted the resignation filed by the Prime Minister of Mali.

Along with the PM, his cabinet and council of ministers have also submitted their resignation to the President.

As per a latest report, a person will be selected soon to rule the country. The report suggests that the resigned PM will have a huge say in the selection of his predecessor.

Since the emergence of the terror organisation linked to dreaded terror organisation Al-Qaeda in the deserts of the country, the peace and stability of the nation has been consistently deteriorating.

In a recent attack allegedly committed by the terrorist, as many as 160 Fulani Herders were brutally killed.

The country is under serious pressure from the International organisations and the world powers to find a solution to the issue.
