Magnitude 3.9 Earthquake Hits Madhya Pradesh’s Pachmarhi
The National Center for Seismology reported that a 3.9-magnitude earthquake shook Pachmarhi in Madhya Pradesh on Tuesday morning.
The NCS reports that the earthquake was felt at a depth of 10 kilometres and at coordinates of 23.28 latitude and 80.35 longitude.
The NCS tweeted about a 3.9-magnitude earthquake that occurred on November 1, 2022, at 8:43:59 IST, at coordinates 23.28 and 80.35 kilometres east-northeast of Pachmarhi, Madhya Pradesh, India.
A tectonic plate movement that registered at 3.7 on the Richter scale occurred early on Tuesday in Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh.On October 20, the NCS reported that a 3.5-magnitude earthquake had been felt in Surat, Gujarat, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi was attending the inauguration of Mission LiFE in Kevadia.
