Lata Mangeshkar Tested Covid Positive; Admitted To The Intensive Care Unit

Singer Lata Mangeshkar has been admitted to hospital with Covid infection. She is being treated in the intensive care unit at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai. Doctors said Lata Mangeshkar was responding to medication. The family says she was admitted to the ICU based on her age and had only minor symptoms.

They should respect their privacy and remember Lata Mangeshkar in their prayers. The daughter-in-law asked for the composition. In 2019, Lata Mangeshkar was diagnosed with pneumonia and spent about a month in critical condition. Covid suffered a concussion after the incident.

Last year, Indian starlet Lata Mangeshkar celebrated her 92nd birthday. She was born in Indore in 1929, the eldest of six children of Deenanath Mangeshkar and Shevanthi, a singer in the Maratha theater. Her first name was Hema. The name Latha is derived from the name Lathika, the name of the character in Deenanath’s play Bhavbandhan. Her sister Asha Bhosle is also India’s favorite singer.
