Lata Mangeshkar in critical condition; Under ventilator monitoring

Legendary Indian singer Lata Mangeshkar is in critical condition. She have been shifted to the ventilator in the ICU of Mumbai Breach Candy Hospital. According to the reports Dr Pratik Sandani of Breach Candy Hospital said that the condition was serious and would continue to be monitored by doctors in the ICU.

Lata Mangeshkar, 92, was admitted to Mumbai’s Breach Kanchi Hospital last month after Covid tested positive. Pneumonia was later diagnosed along with Covid. But by January 30 he was free of Covid and pneumonia. Lata Mangeshkar, who was still under observation in the ICU, was removed from the ventilator last week.

Doctors had announced a few days ago that he had been removed from the ventilator and had returned to consciousness. Although the condition had improved, the doctors who were treating him were waiting for his health to fully improve. Anusha Srinivasan, a close friend of Lata Mangeshkar, had earlier said that Lata Mangeshkar’s health was improving.
