Lalu Yadav’s Daughter Rohini Acharya To Donate Kidney To Him

Lalu Yadav, the ailing founder of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), will receive a kidney donation from Rohini Acharya, who lives in Singapore, according to a close relative. Lalu Yadav, 74, travelled to Singapore last month to have treatment for kidney issues.

A kidney transplant was suggested for the RJD president, who has had a number of health issues. A family source told Press Trust of India that his daughter Rohini Acharya, who is based in Singapore, had intervened to give her father a fresh lease of life.

Currently in Delhi, Lalu Yadav is free on bail. He has spent time in hospitals in Ranchi and Delhi for treatment and has been imprisoned for his role in crimes involving fodder.

The location and timing of the kidney transplant operation are unknown.
