India has asked Pakistan to rethink the decision. India believe that Pakistan intents to send an alarmist picture to the world with the move.
India recently deleted the article, which gives special status to Jammu and Kashmir, the Indian state which is situated close to Pakistan and is a strategically important location in terms of security. India also divided the state into two Union Territories: the Union Territory of Jammy and Kashmir and the Union Territory of Ladak.
Pakistan considers the move of India on Jammu and Kashmir as a provocation. The two Asian countries have found several batters over this region.
The actual issue began at the time of independence. During that period, Jammu and Kashmir was an independent princely state. It neither joined Pakistan nor India, unlike many other princely states in this part of the world. Later, due to the raising threat from Pakistan, the ruler of J&K reached an agreement with India. And, it became a part of India. Respecting its special identity, India offered special status to the region. It gave birth to the Article 370 and Article 35A.
