‘Mission Mangal’: The new trailer of Akshay Kumar’s new movie released
Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan starring Mission Mangal’s first trailer filled everyone with a sense of pride and patriotism, but the new trailer will do just the opposite. The second trailer gives a narrow glimpse at what all went behind the scenes of India’s Mars Mission. The clip has highlighted the trials, struggles, torments, failures and moments of self-doubt that the team of scientists had to overcome before the success of the project called ‘Mangalyaan’.
In the new trailer released on Thursday portrays Akshay’s character as a cynic who teams up with Vidya who is a calm and poised character who is ready to face challenges. Tapsee Pannu’s clip in the trailer gives a comic relief and the trailer also features Sonakshi Sinha, Nithya Menen, Sharman Joshi and Kirti Kulhari.
The film is an incredible story of some of the finest scientists of the country who chose to rise above all the hardships and failures to make India the only country who reached Mars in its first attempt, says the makers.
The film is directed by Jagan Shakti and is all set to hit the theaters on August 15, 2019.
