Sonakshi Sinha’s ‘Khandaani Shafakhana’ opens a poor start at the box office
Sonakshi Sinha starrer ‘Khandaani Shafakhana’ directed by Shilpi Dasgupta opens a poor start at the box office. The movie explores the taboo topic of sex and is touted to be the only sex film for the whole family.Singer-rapper Badshah marks his Bollywood debut through this movie.
According to the reports the film raked 75 lakh on its opening day at the box office. Earlier, the high court ordered the producer of the movie to hold a special screening for a Delhi based sexologist who alleged that the film is defaming him and his profession.
The film is surrounded by Baby Bedi (Sonakshi Sinha) who is happy go lucky Punjabi girl who loves her family and will go to extreme to see them happy. She inherits a sex clinic after her uncle’s death and run it for 6 months before she can sell it.
The film is directed by Shilpi Dasgupta, Varun Sharma, Annu Kapoor and Priyanshu Jora are the other actors playing pivotal role in the movie. The film hit the screen on August 2.
