In Parliament, Kirron Kher meets Jaya Bachchan, whom Nafisa Ali refers to as her “elegant friends”
Jaya Bachchan and Kirron Kher, veteran actors and politicians, recently met during a Parliament session. Kirron, a member of the Lok Sabha and of the Bharatiya Janata Party, posted a photo from their meeting on social media. Jaya Bachchan is a member of the Rajya Sabha and the Samajwadi Party.
Kirron is dressed in a white kurta, while Jaya is dressed in a cotton saree in the photo. “Wonderful to meet Jaya after so long in Parliament,” Kirron captioned the photo. “My elegant friends,” actor Nafisa Ali commented on Kirron’s photo as she posted it. Arjun Bijlani, a television actor, added a heart emoji to the photo. “Two elegant ladies in one frame,” one Instagram user wrote. “True symbol of elegance and beauty, women power,” said another. One of them also made a dig at both actors, who were from opposing political parties. “Didn’t you fight?” “JHAGRA NAHI KIYE?” a comment was read.
Kirron Kher, Shilpa Shetty, Manoj Muntashir, and Badshah are currently judging the TV reality show India’s Got Talent. This is her first project since undergoing cancer treatment.
Jaya Bachchan, who was last seen in a guest appearance in the 2016 film Ki & Ka, will soon be seen in a full-fledged role in Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Dharmendra, and Shabana Azmi also star in the film.
