In Muslim Men’s Killing In Haryana, Accused Sent To 5-Day Police Custody
Two Muslim men from Rajasthan were found dead in a car in Haryana after being allegedly kidnapped by cow vigilantes. Rinku Saini, one of the accused, was remanded to police remand on Saturday by a court in Rajasthan’s Bharatpur district.
According to Ramnaresh Meena of the Station House Office in Gopalgarh, no new arrests have been made in the case to date.
“The arrested accused Rinku Saini was produced before the court today from where he was sent to five days police remand. The accused will be further interrogated,” the SHO said.
In their police complaint, the victims’ family members listed five males who had ties to the Bajrang Dal. On Friday night, Saini, 32, a native of Firozpur Jhirka in Haryana’s Nuh district, was detained as a result of an interrogation and technical examination. The police claimed that he is a cab diver and that he was associated with a cow vigilante organisation.
Residents of the Ghatmeeka hamlet in Rajasthan’s Bharatpur district, Nasir (25) and Junaid alias Juna (35), were allegedly kidnapped on Wednesday. On Thursday morning, their bodies were discovered inside a burned-out automobile in Loharu, Bhiwani, Haryana. According to a police officer, Junaid had a history of smuggling cattle, and five complaints had been filed against him at various police stations. The two, who were linked to one another, had their final rites performed on Friday after officials announced that each of the impacted families will receive a financial help package worth 20.5 lakh. Mohit Yadav, the president of the Bajrang Dal district in Gurugram, also known as Monu Manesar, is one of the main defendants in the case.
He was previously identified in a murder attempt case that was filed on February 7 at the Pataudi police station in Gurugram. Manu Manesar released a video message while hiding out in which he asserted his innocence in the Rajasthan case.
