Holiday for educational institutions at Kasargod, Kannur, Malapuram and Kottayam on Tuesday

Tuesday is declared as a holiday for all the educational institutions of Kannur and Kasargod by the collectors as heavy rain is lashing the districts.

Collectors declared holiday for the educational institution on their respective facebook pages due to heavy rain and also after red alert was announced. Holiday is applicable for all professional colleges Anganwadis, ICSE and CBSE schools but university exams will be held as per scheduled.

At Malappuram the collector declared a holiday on Tuesday which are applicable for all the educational institutions including proffesional colleges, Kendriya Vidyalayas, Madrasas, and Anganawadis. But the holidays are not applicable for the exams scheduled earlier said the collector.

At the meantime at Kottayam the collector declared holidays for the educational institution where relief camps are held. St Joseph High School at Punnathara is the only exception.
