Guard Operates X-Ray Machine In UP Government Hospital, Probe On

On Thursday, a house guard in Ballia, Uttar Pradesh, was seen taking a woman’s x-ray at a public hospital. The woman is being directed by the guard as another uniformed official observes in the video, which has gone viral on social media.

The home guard places a woman’s chin on the machine and asks her to elevate her arms as she wears an orange sari. The x-ray is then performed by him without what appears to be assistance from a medical practitioner.

According to Ballia District Magistrate Ravindra Kumar, the Chief Medical Officer has been informed about the video and the authorities have taken notice of it. He claimed that a thorough investigation into the facts behind the guard’s actions had also been demanded.

“This is playing with the health of the woman. If the machine was operated incorrectly, then something could have gone wrong. Responsibility must be taken,” Mr Kumar added.
