Gold: Prithviraj and Nayanthara promise a fun film in this Alphonse Puthran Directorial
On Tuesday, actor-filmmaker Prithviraj released the teaser for his upcoming film Gold. Nayanthara plays the lead role in the film.
Prithviraj notices a gang of men doing something shady under the cover of darkness in the teaser. In the film, his character is brave and street smart. To deal with three men, he doesn’t need to call the cops. He is capable of completing the task on his own. As a result, he yells at the gang to get their attention. The rest of the footage is devoted to slow-motion footage of Prithviraj walking. And the other men’s reactions are intercut with his stylized walk. Director Alphonse Puthren’s specialties include a slow-motion walk and a pounding background score.
Nayanthara is also seen eating popcorn with a sinister expression on her face. What exactly is she up to?
After a seven-year hiatus, Alphonse Puthren returns to directing with Gold. Premam, his most recent film, starred Nivin Pauly in the lead role. In 2015, the film was a huge success.
In the meantime, Prithviraj is anticipating the release of Jana Gana Mana, which is set to hit theatres in April. Nayanthara’s next film is Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal, which will be released on April 28.
