FISH MOLEE

INGREDIENTS
Fish – ½ kg
Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
Onions – 2 nos .
Garlic paste – 2 tsp .
Ginger paste – 2 tsp.
Chilli powder – 1 tsp
Shallots paste – 2 tsp.
Cloves – 5 nos .
Cinnamon – 1 no
Pepper powder – 1 tsp
Coconut milk – from 1 cup of coconut
Oil – 1 tsp
Cashew nuts – ¼ cup
Vinegar – 2 tbs .
Tomato – 1
METHOD
Grind coconut and extract the milk separately. in a kadai heat 2 tbs of oil and sprinkle all spices. add sliced onion and fry until tender , remove it from oil and keep it aside. In the same oil fry turmeric , ginger, garlic ,and shallot paste alternately. into this add fish and onion with enough salt and ¼ cup water. Allow the fish to cook add 3rd coconut milk and allow the gravy to become thick. Add 2nd milk with cashew nut paste .when it starts boiling add 1st milk and switch off the fire. Garnish with fried onions and curry leaves.
