Film ‘The Accidental Prime Minister’ BJP’s propaganda, alleges Congress
The Grand Old Party has alleged that the film ‘The Accidental Prime Minister’ was the propaganda of the Saffron Party. The trailer of the film has been released a few hours ago. In the trailer itself, there are several scenes which are intended to irritate the Congress Party. From the trailer, it is understood that the film is aimed to create a feeling that the Congress Party is under the clutches of a single family. It is that political element of the film against which the Congress has come up publically.
In the film, Anupam Kher appears as the lead actor. He acts as former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. The film is the adaptation of a book written in the same name by Sanjay Baru who was the media advisor of the former PM, from 2004 to 2008, during his first term as the UPA’s face.
Some BJP leaders allege that the Congress fears to confront the questions raised by this film and it does not want the nation to discuss the issue of family politics.
Meanwhile, many Congress leaders retort that the BJP cannot hide its inefficiency, blunders and failed promised behind this film propaganda.
Was Mr Singh really an accidental PM?
