We all know that late actor Sushant Singh Rajput was one of the finest actor of B-twon. But very few may be knowing that he was the first choice of directors in their movie. Let’s check out which all are the movie that slipped out of his hands.
- Goliyon ki Raasleela – Ramleela
No one can imagine some other actor playing the role of Ram except Ranveer Singh. But how many of you know that Sushant was the first choice of Sanjay Leela Bhansali for the film. Not only Ramleela but also for four other films of Sanjay Leela Bhansali approached Sushant. But they couldn’t collaborate due to date issues.
- Fitoor
Sushant Singh Rajput made his debut in silver screen through the movie ‘Kai Po Che’ directed by Abishek Kapoor. The actor got another chance to collaborate with his mentor but it did not go down well and he has to sign for the film ‘Paani’.
- Half girlfriend
‘Half Girlfriend’ adapted from Chetan Bhagat’s book by the same name, director Mohit Suri approached Sushant for the character Madhav Jha. Mohit Suri was very much impressed by Sushant’s Bihari accent. But he had to drop from the project as he already signed for Dinesh Vijan’s ‘Raabta’ starring opposite Kriti Sanon.
- Andhadhun
One of the critically acclaimed movie of 2018 Andhadhun directed by Sriram Raghavan wanted to cast Sushant for the lead role. However, things did not work well as it were planned and the role was later given to Ayushman Khurrana.
- Befikre
After the movie ‘Shudh Desi Romance’ Aditya Chopra wanted to pair Sushant and Vaani Kapoor for the movie ‘Befikre’. Later the role of Dharam was given to Ranveer Singh.
