Despite last minute trouble, India proud of Chandrayan 2 mission
India has expressed proud in the space mission of Chandrayan 2, even though the Indian Space Research Organisation has lost control of the space vehicle minutes before the time scheduled for the landing of the vehicle.
Almost all Indian politicians, irrespective of their political affiliations, have stood by the scientists behind the ambitious project.
The successful landing of the vehicle send by India would have made the country the fourth country which has successfully completed the mission.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated all scientists who have taken part in the ambitious mission.
The space vehicle was scheduled to touch the surface of the moon between 1 30 PM to 2 30 PM Today. Unfortunately, the organisation lost its control over the vehicle minutes before the scheduled launch.
The ISRO is popular for its low cost space missions. Undisputedly, the country is now a low cost space mission super power.
Its previous moon mission, popularly known as Chandrayaan one, conducted in the year 2008, was a huge success. It was to search for water on the surface of the moon.
The prime objective of the latest mission is to study the soil of the moon and the sensitive issue of moonquakes.
