Deepika Padukone arrives in France for Cannes Film Festival 2022, shares fun glimpse of her first day

Deepika Padukone, the Bollywood superstar, has arrived in Cannes to serve on the jury of the prestigious film festival.

Deepika posted a video to her Instagram account on Monday evening. A casually dressed Deepika is seen at the airport in the video. We get a glimpse of Cannes, dipped in sunlight, after she mentions her 11-hour flight.

Deepika is seen near the end of the reel debating whether she should eat or sleep. “Eating is always a good plan,” the actor says of eating. “From Cannes, with love,” reads an inscription at the end of the video.

Deepika Padukone will serve on the Cannes Film Festival’s competition jury this year. The Palme d’Or winner will be chosen by a jury made up of five men and four women. Deepika has been a regular at Cannes since 2017.

Deepika is busy with a number of projects, including Nag Ashwin’s Project K, Amitabh Bachchan’s Hindi remake of The Intern, Fighter with Hrithik Roshan, and Pathaan with Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham.
