Commotion caused by an alcoholic; Emergency landing of Muscat-Bengaluru flight in Mumbai
The Muscat-Bengaluru flight made an emergency landing in Mumbai after a drunken passenger caused a commotion and misbehaved with crew members and passengers. Mohammad Sarafuddin Ulwar was the person who misbehaved on the plane. He was arrested by the police and taken into custody.
The incident took place on an Indigo flight from Muscat to Bem Galuru on Saturday night. Shortly after the plane took off, he started making noise. Crew members tried to persuade him, but he became even more outraged. He also tried to harass his fellow passengers. Police have registered a case against him under sections 336 of the IPC and sections 22A and 23 of the Aircraft Act.
